This adaptation of the traditional Arts &
Crafts rocking chair is perhaps one of the most comfortable
furniture pieces available. Contributing to the
comfort of this chair style are:
- Cushioned seat made of genuine leather
- Strong but flexible back slats
- Extra wide for added comfort
To maximize comfort, I custom build the chair for
your height. The length from your knee to your foot
determines the height of the chair's seat from the
floor. Customizing your chair to this dimension
insures that your feet sit flat on the floor when
seated.
There are 43 hand cut mortise and tenon joints in
these rocking chairs.
